My career as a physiotherapist has taken me to many hospitals, including ones in Manchester, London and Sydney. During this time I have built up specialist knowledge of musculoskeletal issues.
Pilates caught my attention when I realised how effectively it promotes what I try to teach my patients - good posture and easy movement to help recover from injury. I chose to train with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) because it is the only pilates institute operating in Europe that is founded and directed by fully qualified physiotherapists.
Because of its clinical focus, the APPI is generally regarded as the leading teacher training institute for physiotherapists.
All my pilates sessions are underpinned by this clinical understanding – so I’m as comfortable rehabilitating clients with injuries as I am training those who seek that ‘sporting edge’.
Alongside my certification from the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute, I have over twenty years’ experience working as an NHS physiotherapist. By combining pilates exercises with clinical expertise, I’m able to adapt my tuition to your needs.
